Garage Fire

At 12:19 am on Sunday, November 8th, Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a reported dwelling fire on the 5500 block of Old Easton Road. Chief 24 arrived on the scene and reported a fully involved 2 bay garage with an attached office space. Due to limited water supply in the area tankers from mutual aid companies were dispatched as a tanker task force. Fire crews worked quickly to extinguish the fire. The fire was put under control at 1:42 am. Two firefighters were evaluated on the scene, for smoke inhalation. One firefighter was transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation and released shortly thereafter. A second firefighter was evaluated on the scene for smoke inhalation and cleared on the scene by the medics.
