FF2 Graduates

We’re excited to celebrate Garrett Snyder and Evan McGeever for successfully graduating Firefighter 2!

This advanced certification builds on their Firefighter 1 training and demonstrates their continued commitment to learning and leadership. Firefighter 2 is no small achievement; it requires 104 hours of advanced skills training.

We are incredibly proud of Garrett and Evan for taking this next step. Their hard work strengthens our department and our community.

Please join us in congratulating them on this outstanding accomplishment!

Overturned Truck

This afternoon at 1400 hours Engine 20 and rescue 19 responded to rescue box 20-61 northbound 611 bypass for an overturned tractor trailer. The driver was able to self extricate prior to our arrival. The companies secured hazards and remained on scene for approximately 20 minutes

A Heartfelt Thank You

Thank You for Supporting the Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire Company!

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to support our recent fundraiser! Your participation and generosity mean the world to us.

The funds raised from this event will play a crucial role in covering the costs associated with maintaining our facilities, maintaining our fleet of vehicles, and ensuring the readiness of our emergency equipment. Over the years, your contributions have empowered us to procure state-of-the-art radio communication equipment, upgrade aging emergency vehicles, and acquire cutting-edge breathing apparatus. As a 100% volunteer fire company, we rely on your unwavering commitment and support to continue serving our community.

Thank you for being a part of our mission to keep Plumsteadville safe! We couldn't do it without you. And remember, the next time you see one of our trucks, give us a wave—we promise to wave back (unless we're driving, of course)!
