At 2:28 am on December 28th, the residents of a home on Roseberry Dr discovered a fire in the kitchen. The fire quickly spread, and the homeowners safely evacuated. Chief 24 arrived and observed fire coming out of both sides of the home. Due to the risk of fire to surrounding homes and the extremely low temperatures, mutual aid was dispatched to assist. Unfortunately, several family pets were lost in the fire. Our thoughts go out to the affected family. Thank you to the following mutual companies for their assistance: Point Pleasant Vol. Fire Co., Doylestown Fire Company No. 1, Palisades Regional Fire Rescue, Chalfont Fire Company, Dublin Volunteer Fire Company, Lingohocken Fire Company, and Midway Volunteer Fire Company . The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Our LEGO Bingo was a huge success, and it’s all because of YOU. We’re grateful to everyone who came out, spent the evening with us, and supported the Fire Company. Your participation helps us continue serving our community, and we honestly couldn’t do events like this without your support.
A special thank-you goes out to the local businesses who helped make this night possible:

We’d like to extend a huge thank you to Durham Hill Farm for having us at this year’s Holiday Market! Our team truly enjoyed being there, connecting with the community, and supporting such a wonderful seasonal event.

Today is a day when communities come together to support the organizations that serve them. Your generosity helps us stay ready to respond to emergencies, train our firefighters, and keep our community safe.
When you give, you’re directly supporting the volunteers who leave their homes, families, and workplaces to answer the call. Your support ensures we have the tools, equipment, and training needed to serve Plumstead Township and our neighboring communities with excellence.
