As we welcome 2026, we want to thank our dedicated members, families, and community for your continued support. Your trust and partnership allow us to serve with pride, commitment, and readiness.
Here’s to a safe, healthy, and prosperous New Year for all.
Happy New Year from Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire Company.
At 2:28 am on December 28th, the residents of a home on Roseberry Dr discovered a fire in the kitchen. The fire quickly spread, and the homeowners safely evacuated. Chief 24 arrived and observed fire coming out of both sides of the home. Due to the risk of fire to surrounding homes and the extremely low temperatures, mutual aid was dispatched to assist. Unfortunately, several family pets were lost in the fire. Our thoughts go out to the affected family. Thank you to the following mutual companies for their assistance: Point Pleasant Vol. Fire Co., Doylestown Fire Company No. 1, Palisades Regional Fire Rescue, Chalfont Fire Company, Dublin Volunteer Fire Company, Lingohocken Fire Company, and Midway Volunteer Fire Company . The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The Plumsteadville Fire Company would like to welcome our two newest members: Luciano DeRenzo and Peter Babigian. We thank them for their dedication to serving the community and wish them the best in their careers as firefighters. If you would like information on how you can help your community and the fire company, stop by any Monday evening or visit our website at www.pvfc2420.org
Congratulations to Jake Yerkes for being honored at the Bucks County Chamber of Commerce Emergency Service Awards Dinner. Jake is the fourth member of his family to be honored with this award. We are truly grateful for Jake’s dedication to our fire company and thankful for his service to our community.
This morning we were invited to participate in the Tri-municipal Fourth of July parade in Chalfont. It was great seeing everyone that came out in celebration of America. A big thanks to Chalfont Fire Company for inviting us! Happy Fourth of July everyone! Please be safe and responsible today.
