We’re kicking off our new series, The People Behind the Pager, highlighting the volunteers who make PVFC what it is, and first up is Brendan.

He joined to honor a close friend lost in the line of duty and to show his kids what it means to give back. Brendan enjoys visiting local schools and daycares to teach fire safety and connect with kids in our community. He’s currently finishing driver training and is interested in rope rescue. His most memorable call was the Lahaska brush fire, his first time seeing an incident of that scale. Like all of our members, Brendan is a volunteer who responds when needed to ensure others are safe. Outside the firehouse, he’s a Financial Advisor and a dedicated dad. When asked to describe PVFC in one word, he said determined, and that says it all.
