At 2:28 am on December 28th, the residents of a home on Roseberry Dr discovered a fire in the kitchen. The fire quickly spread, and the homeowners safely evacuated. Chief 24 arrived and observed fire coming out of both sides of the home. Due to the risk of fire to surrounding homes and the extremely low temperatures, mutual aid was dispatched to assist. Unfortunately, several family pets were lost in the fire. Our thoughts go out to the affected family. Thank you to the following mutual companies for their assistance: Point Pleasant Vol. Fire Co., Doylestown Fire Company No. 1, Palisades Regional Fire Rescue, Chalfont Fire Company, Dublin Volunteer Fire Company, Lingohocken Fire Company, and Midway Volunteer Fire Company . The cause of the fire is under investigation.
