Yesterday afternoon, we were dispatched to hazardous materials box 20-61 in the northbound lanes of Route 611 near N. Easton Rd. When we arrived on the scene, we located an overturned truck carrying 2500 gallons of liquid oxygen. Due to the high flammability of oxygen, we worked very carefully along with tow companies to get the truck back on its tires. We were assisted on scene by Point Pleasant Vol. Fire Co., Bucks County Special Operations hazmat team, Plumstead Police, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, and Jim Jacobs Towing. We cleared the scene just before 1 am.
